<무한정원> 연작은 이상(李箱)의 시에서 길어온 말로 삼차원 공간의 다방향의 입체적인 <삼경 1>을 통해 열린 새로운 풍경을 의미한다. 슈퍼미러로 제작된 피라미드 삼각뿔 거울에 무한 변신 반전되는 실제 자연 공간 이미지는 ‘삼차각 설계도’가 오픈할 다른 차원의 입구 이자, 환원론적 근대가 이룬 거대 공간의 환영에 대한 시각적 각성으로 인간 중심의 인식론적 관점을 해체하고 재구성하여 자연이 품은 시간성과 소실점을 지운 무한정원을 시각화한다.

The photo series “Endless Garden” presents landscapes seen through “3 Views 1” or, in the words of Korean poet Yi Sang (1910-37), through a multi-directional solid angle on a three-dimensional space. Infinitely reflected on the surface of supermirror pyramids, these images of nature act as a door to another dimension, as conceptualized in Yi Sang’s ‘Solid Angle Blueprint’. By provoking a visual awakening from the spatial illusions of reductionist modernity, the works deconstruct and re-imagine human-centric epistemologies, together with the perspectives they imply. The panorama-scale photos erase nature’s temporality and vanishing points to visualize the underlying endless garden.
