이 파쇄공은 약 18톤이다.

용광로에서 쇳물이 흘러 내리면서 불순물을 걸러낸 철과 불순물이 섞여 있는 거대한 덩어리를 파쇄 시키기 위해 필요한 쇳덩어리이다.

최초 22~23톤이었을 이 쇠덩어리는 6~7년간 25m의 높이에서 반복하여 떨어뜨려 쇠불순물들을 깨 부순다. 단순하면서도 정직하게 노동을 한다. 어마어마한 무게의 압력과 충격으로 부수면서 자가뭄도 부서지거나 할퀴어지고, 뭉뚱그려진 흔적과 시련이 그대로 남아있다. 혹독한 시련을 겪고 난 후에는 아름다움을 느낀다. 날 몸뚱어리의 숭고함을 봤다.

This mass weights about 18 tons.

The melted iron flows through the furnace and in the meantime unpure materials are filtered. The large mass of iron is needed to break down the huge mass that is a mix of iron and impurities.

This mass of iron would probably have been 22-23 tons, initially but over 6-7 years it was dropped repeatedly from a height of 25 meters to break down the impurities in the iron. It is a simple task yet one needs to adhere to integrity. The breaking down happens due to the huge amount of weight and pressure. During this process its own body is broken, scratched and won down. The trials it goes through leave behind traces. After such crushing trials, what is left is beauty. The dignity of the naked pureness is seen.
