새로운 시작 A New Beginning

조형물 '새로운 시작'은 두 국면 사이의 끊임없는 변화를 보여주는 작품인데, 하나는 질서정연하고 통합된 방식이고, 다른 하나는 역동적이고 분열된 방식이다. 추상적이고 독립적인 각각의 형태들이, 성장과 발전에 대한 새로운 가능성들을 보여주는, 안정되고 응집된 하나를 이루기 위해 모인다. 아울러, 토양으로부터 영양을 공급받는 무궁화 꽃의 이미지는 연대, 발전, 발견, 회복, 순수, 사랑을 나타낸다.

재활용 플라스틱 타일을 사용한다. 우리의 환경을 위해, 재활용 플라스틱을 사용하여 작품을 만드는 방법은 무궁무진하다. 문제점 간의 격차를 극복하거나, 플라스틱 쓰레기의 확산을 막고, 쓰레기를 가치 있는 예술작품으로 변형시킬 수 있다.

이러한 무궁화 조형물 "새로운 시작"은 우리가 버린 쓰레기가 지구와 서식 동물들에게 미치는 영향에 대해 생각해보고, 우리의 소비습관에 대해서도 반성해보는 계기를 마련한다.

'A new beginning' is a sculpture in constant flux between two phases: in one way ordered and unified the other dynamic and fragmented. The abstract independent forms come together to create a stable and cohesive whole, conveying new possibilities of growth and progress. Moreover, the image of a Hibiscus flower receiving nutrition from the soil, portrays solidarity, development, discovery, renewal, purity and love.

Using recycled plastic tiles: Using recycled plastic for making art is immeasurable for our environment because it helps in overcoming the gap between the problem, of the proliferation of plastic waste and action, transforming it into valuable pieces of art.

This Hibiscus sculpture "A new beginning" is a stark reminder of the impact of our waste on the planet and its inhabitants, and motivate us to rethink our consumption practices.
