​<나선형 터널 Spiral Tunnel>

많은 식물의 모양에는 그 식물의 속에서 뻗어 나온 아주 체계적인 형태의 나선형이 있다. 잎차례의 나선형은 자연 속에 존재하는 독특한 패턴들을 형성한다. 이것에 대한 수학적 설명이 있다 - 피보나치수열. 사실 피보나치수열은 식물에서부터 은하수의 모양까지 자연에서 일어나는 다양한 현상을 설명한다. 이 프로젝트는 인간이 수학적 원리로 길들인 기이한 핵심까지 자연 구조의 기본적 형태를 표현한다.

이 원리는 예술 분야, 특히 건축 분야에서 응용되어 큰 성과를 거두었다. 인간은 모든 것을 자연에 빚지고 있다. 이 프로젝트의 목적은 이 사실을 상기시키고, 자연의 현상을 설명하려는 것이다.

In the shapes of many plants, there are visible spiral lines extending from the inside in an extremely systematic way. Phyllotactic spirals form a distinctive class of patterns in nature.

There is a mathematical explication for that–The Fibonacci sequence. The Fibonacci sequence in fact describes a whole range of phenomena occurring in nature, ranging from plants to the shape of galaxies. The project refers to this basic form of nature's construction, to its extraordinary core, which man has tamed with the mathematical principle.

This principle has been used by man in art giving great results, among others, in architecture. Man owes everything to nature.

The purpose of this project is to remind of this fact and the phenomenon of nature.
