​<숲을 재생하는 예술 Reforestacion de Arte> 

나의 작품 아이디어는 '전통적인' 대지 미술 작품을 제작하되, 시간이 흐르면 서서히 퇴화할 것이고, 퇴화하는 순간 돌과 세라믹 오브제가 모두 땅에 떨어져 자신만의 새로운 숲을 만들 것이라는 비전으로 시작한 것이다.

돌이 허물어지는 바로 그 장소에 우리는 새로운 나무들을 심을 것이고, 세라믹 오브제는 낮은 온도 때문에 부서지고, 이곳에 심은 씨앗이 발아하여 꽃과 식물로 자랄 것이다. 또한 나는 중간에 구멍을 뚫은 3~5개 정도의 평평한 돌을 놓을 것이다. 그리고 이 중간에 뚫은 구멍에 나무를 심으면, 나무들은 시간이 흐르면 돌들보다 더 커져서 예술 작품이 될 것이다. 이를 통해 우리는 미래에 자라나는 새로운 숲을 상상할 수 있다.

The idea is to start with the creation of a “traditional” Land-Art Object but with the vision that it will slowly deteriorate due to the time going by and that at that moment of deterioration the Stones and the Ceramic Objects all will fall down to the earth and create it”s own proper new Forest.

At the exact place where the Stones will fall down we will plant new Trees and when the Ceramic Objects fall down these will break apart, because of the low temperature firing, and the Seeds we put inside these will sprout and grow into flowers and plants. Also I will create 3 to 5 big flat Stones with drilled cores into these to place around the created object. In these cores I will plant new trees which will slowly grow inside these core holes and probably elevate the stones so creating it’s proper Art Object over time. Thanks to the creation of this Art Object we can envision a new Forest growing in the Future.
