​<엮어진 산 Woven Mountain>

전통적인 산수화 화법에 따르면, 산은 내적 경관의 시각으로 묘사된다. 경치는 사실적인 것이 아니라, 평화로운 마음으로 초점을 맞춘 이상적인 경치이다.

이 작품에서, 나는 산의 경치와 자연을 결합한다. 바위나 돌을 사용하는 대신, 나는 나무, 나뭇가지, 갈대를 사용한다. 살아 있는 식물은 성장할 것이고, 인공적인 콘셉트를 변화시킬 것이다. 시간이 지나면, 자연이 우세해져서 그 자체의 모습을 만들 것이다. 원래 바닥이 평평하고 높지 않던 구조물 위로 경쟁에서 이기는 나무들이 자라서 크고 높은 나무, 많은 가지, 무성한 잎을 하늘로 뻗을 것이다.

According to the traditional Shan Shui painting, the mountains are depicted as a vision of an inner landscape. The scenery is not realistic but an ideal landscape, to focus on with a peaceful mind.

In the work “Woven Mountain” I combine the landscape of a mountain with nature itself. Instead of using rocks and stone, I use trees, branches and reeds and the living material will sprout and reshape the man-made concept. Later on Nature will prevail and create it’s own shape. There will be a survival of the fittest trees and where there was originally a broad base on the ground and a small top in the air, there might become a small tree base and a broad, large and hight top with many branches and leaves, all growing to heaven.
