대지 미술의 설치 프로젝트인 A5는 네 개의 수직으로 선 “판넬/벽” (대나무나 다른 나무판)으로 만들어진다. 작고 가는 나뭇가지들을 기초로 하여 수직으로 세운다.

이 네 개의 “판넬/벽”의 꼭대기 아래에 긴 대나무 혹은 목재/철재 막대가 수평으로 가로질러 네 개를 고정시킨다. 이 장소와 공간이 주변과 구별되도록, 4~6×3 막대기들을 주변에 꽂을 것이다. 이것은 이 공간과 경계들이 더욱 드러나도록 4~6그루의 나무들에 여러 색의 황마 리본들을 둘러놓을 것이다. 황마 리본들을 제외한 모든 요소는 자연적으로 자라는 것들과 인공적 설치물 사이의 변화하는 효과를 드러내도록 원래 색을 지닐 예정이다. 시간이 지나면서 자연의 영향력과 과정들이 이 설치 작품을 서서히 변화시킬 것이다.

이런 변화들과 상호작용은 이 작품의 중요한 부분이다. 이런 디자인을 선택한 이유는 정적인 통일성 (static uniformity)을 피하고, 미묘한 긴장의 영역을 만들려는 것이다.

내 작품의 주제들은 정체성, (인간과 인간-환경 사이의) 관계, 전이, 경계 넘기, 시간, 파괴, 생명의 순환이다.

나는 이러한 주제들을 분리하고, 범주화하고, 이들을 자세히 연구하는 데 관심을 가지고 있다. 그들이 처한 맥락이 한 장소와 다른 장소에서 얼마나 다른가에 관심이 있다. 공간들과 대상들은 환경 속에서 얼마나 자율적인가, 서로 어떤 관계를 하고 연결되는가에 관심이 있다. 나는 이런 대상들을 둘러싼 과다한 정보, 관습적인 혼란을 정리해서 자연에서 기본적인 요소들을 인식하는 것으로 돌아가기를 원한다.

Just under the top of all four “panels”/walls” a long bamboo or wooden/iron pole will run horizontal through all four elements by connecting them. For to distinguished the location and space a group of four to six threes standing nearby will be integrated into the installation. In order to make the space and borders more recognizable, these 4-6 trees get different colored jute ribbons around them. Each tree receives an individual design or arrangement of the jute ribbons. Except for the jute ribbons every element will keep it’s nature color Space, boundaries, changing effects between naturally growing material and human-made installations made of natural materials. Over time, natural influences and processes should slowly change the installation.

These changes and interactions are a key part of the concept. The reason for the chosen design is for to avoid static uniformity and to built up an area of subtle tensions.

The subjects in my work have a vision towards identity, relationships (between human and human-environment), transition, crossing borders, time, destruction, circle of live.

I am interested in isolating these subjects respectively objects, cataloging them, analyzing them and studying them in detail. Deepening the context in which they find themselves, how they differ from one place to another, neighborhoods or locations. How autonomous are the spaces or objects within the environment and how they relate to and connect with each other. I want to clear the excess of information and the customary chaos that surrounds these objects, to return to the recognition of basic elements in the nature layout.
