​<내부 4 INSIDE 4> 

‘내부 4’로 명명된 이 프로젝트는 삶에서 본질적인 것들로의 회귀를 목표로 한다.

인간은 자연의 다양성과 아름다움을 항상 경이로워했고, 심지어 가장 단순한 것들에서 오는 자연의 기발함에 놀라워했다. 우리는 우리가 감탄해 마지않는 자연 속에 살면서도, 이렇게 매혹적인 시스템의 한 부분으로 살고 있다는 사실 자체를 잊은 채, 복잡하고 인공적인 공간들을 만들려고 최선을 다한다. 자연과 인간의 재통합을 바라는 나의 프로젝트는 조형물이 들어서게 될 환경과 조건을 존중한다. 집은 둥지 혹은 ‘괴물’의 모습을 띤다. 우리의 삶을 편리하고 조화롭게 만들기 위한 자연의 가장 경이로운 구조물 중 하나는 미적 관점에서 보았을 때도, 우리가 정말로 원하고 필요로 하는 것을 반영하는 것이다.

The project, entitled “Inside 4” aims at a return to the essentials things in life.

Man has always been surprised by the beauty and variety of nature, amazed by the brilliant composition of even the simplest things. This is because of the fact that we often tend to forget that we are part of this fascinating system, and we do our best to create complicated and artificial spaces, in which we admire nature from afar. My project, which wants to reintegrate the human being with nature, respects the needs and the environment where the sculpture is placed. The house is shaped like a nest or a “monster”, one of the astonishing structures of nature, where we desire to make life easier and harmonious – even from an aesthetic point of view – giving a cause for reflection for what we really want and need.
