작품 ‘발견의 자리’는 평면상에 겹친 2차원의 천을 통해 나무라는 3차원 덩어리를 만들어 내는 작업으로, 복합적이고 생명력과 시간성을 띈 나무라는 형상을 단색의 천으로 덮어버림으로써 이미지를 단순화시켰다. 어떻게 보면 인위적인 풍경이다. 이것은 일상과 기억. 내가 기억하는 시간과 객관적 사건의 간극이 만남이자 중간지대이며 재생과 환영이 동시에 보여지기도 한다.

The work 'Figure of Discovery' is a work to create a three-dimensional mass of trees through two-dimensional fabrics overlapped on the wall, and simplifies the image by covering the shape of a complex, vital and temporal tree with one colored fabric. In a way, it is an artificial landscape. This is everyday and memory. The gap between the time I remember and the objective event is an encounter and a middle ground, and regeneration and illusion can be seen at the same time.
