<나무 정령 The Spirit of the Tree>

대나무로 인간의 머리를 커다랗게 만들어 땅에 올려놓는다.
입을 열어 관람객에게 들어오라고 권한다.
머리 안으로 들어와
거인의 마음 속으로 들어간다.
벽에 안쪽은 온통 진흙을 바른 동굴 같거나 아니면 양치류가 뒤덮은 고치 같거나 아니면 그냥 대나무 같다.
눈은 열면 햇빛이 안쪽으로 파고 든다.
또는
땅에 뉘여 놓는다.
마치 지구가 말하는 것을 듣기라도 하는 것처럼
이마에 구멍 하나
마음 속으로 들어가는 문 하나
대나무 사다리를 올라가
뇌 안에 둥지를 틀고 있는
휴식과 명상의 공간으로 들어간다.
해골이 마치 둥그런 돔 같이 생겨서,
안쪽에는 모서리가 없다.
원래 가장 적당한 모양은 주변 자연에,
그리고 우리의 가장 사적 공간인
우리의 내적 자연(innernature) 즉 우리 마음에 잘 어울려야 한다.

A giant human head made of bamboos …
comes out from the ground
Opening the mouth to invite the walker in
Enter the head
enter into the mind of the giant
Inside
like a cave with walls covered with mud
or like a cocoon with ferns on the ground
or just bamboo.
Eyes opened to let the natural light penetrate also.
or
Layed down on the ground
like listening the earth
a hole in the forehead
a door to enter the mind
climb a bamboo ladder and
enter a relaxation and meditation space
a nest
in the brain
The skull is like a round shaped dome,
Inside there is no corner.
Original optimized shape to be in adequacy with surrounding nature…
and our innernature, our most private space,
Ourmind.
