조각은 여전히 작업 공정 중에 쓰이는 커다란 노끈 바구니처럼 보인다.

자연에서 바람이 불면 바구니 밖으로 빠져 나온 대나무 토막들이 움직인다. 바구니는 많은 문화권에서 문명의 시초이며 일상 생활에서 아주 중요한 역할을 한다. 바구니에는 식품, 제품, 그리고 우리 인생의 기억들이 담겨있다. 금강자연미술비엔날레의 셸터 분야에 출품하려는 본 조각품은 자연 환경 안에 다양한 요소들과 에너지를 저장하는 것을 보여준다. 시간이 가면서, 이 예기치 못했던 요소들이 조각품 용기에 담길 것이다. 식물, 잎, 꽃, 비, 물, 눈, 동물, 그리고 이곳을 방문한 사람들이 담길 것이다.

그 후에, 바구니에 담긴 것들이 영양분이 되어 땅으로 스며들 것이다. 따라서, 이 조각 설치물의 개념은 소우주의 순환 시스템이다. 결론적으로, 내 작품은 모든 것을 끌어 모아 아름다운 세계를 창조하는 셸터를 보여준다.

The sculpture looks like an enlarged twine basket that still in working process.

The wind blowing from the environment will move the bamboo sticks that are extending above the basket. Basket is the origin of the civilization in many cultures and plays a very important role in daily life. They contain the food, products, and memories of our life. The idea of this sculpture in the shelter concept of Geumgang Nature Art Biennale is about storing various elements and energy in the natural environment. As times goes by, those unpredictable elements will be loaded into the sculpture container. Those elements including plants, leaves, flowers, rains, water, snow, animals and people who visited, etc.

After that, what have been keep inside the basket will become nutrients and penetrating into the earth. Therefore, the concept of this sculpture installation is a circular system of a small universe. Thus, my work represents the shelter that holding everything together and creating a beautiful world.
