​<생명의 나무 Tree of Life>

주기적으로 떨어지고 다시 솟아나는 수사슴의 뿔은 “생명의 나무” 또는 “재탄생”의 상징적인 의미를 지닌다. 또한 사슴은 여러 신화에 등장하여 신비로움을 주며 야생의 동물이지만 인간에게 친숙한 동물에 속한다. 특히 사슴의 뿔은 나무의 형상과 유사한 구조를 지녔다. 이러한 이중적 이미지에 착안하여 조형적 요소를 접목해 귀를 포함하여 수사슴의 뿔을 나뭇가지처럼 형상화하였다. “영속적 재생력”을 지닌 수사슴의 뿔 위에 새를 부가적인 오브제로 추가하여 또다시 야생으로 돌아가고자 하는 모두의 꿈을 “생명의 영원성”이라는 주제로 표출하였다.

The stag's antler, which periodically fall and rise again, has a symbolic meaning of "the tree of life" or "rebirth." In addition, the deer appears in various myths, giving it mystery, and although it is a wild animal, it belongs to an animal familiar to humans. In particular, The stag's antler has a structure similar to that of a tree. Taking this double image into consideration, the formative elements are grafted to shape the antler of the stag, including the ears, like tree branches.

By adding a bird as an additional object on the antler of a stag with “permanent regeneration”, everyone’s dream of returning to the wild is expressed under the theme of “eternity of life.”
