기억 속에서 - 자연으로 돌아가는 비석 In Memory - A Memorial back to Nature

우리는 지극히 역설적인 시대에 살고 있다. 지구온난화와 농약, 그리고 오염을 원하는 사람은 없다. 대신 무엇을 해야 할까? 특별한 건 없다. 겨울철 히터의 온도를 낮춤으로써 지구온난화를 늦출 수 있다. 곤충과 동물을 죽이지 않는 방식으로 식량을 취하면 농약의 폐해를 줄일 수 있다. 비록 항공수송, 자동차, 휴대폰, 클라우드 저장장치 등을 사용하고 있지만, 오염도 줄일 수 있다.

신석기시대를 받아들이면, 우리가 누리는 현대적 편의성의 대부분을 포기해야 할 것이다.

설치작품 “기억 속에서(In memory)”는 자연과 다음 세대 앞에서 우리의 책임에 대해 자기반성을 하는 실험실이다. 그 무덤들은 우리의 눈과 가슴에 깊은 감명을 남긴다. 이러한 사색적 장소를 지나가면서, 사람들은 그들의 삶의 방식이 자연에 영향을 미치고 있음을 깨닫게 된다.

"기억 속에서"는 경험을 제안한다.

We are living in an extremely paradoxical time. Everybody requires less global warming, pesticide, pollution... In exchange for what? Nothing. Less global warming with out turning down the heater at winter time...

Less pesticide when people want more easy food without worrying about killing insects and animals... Less pollution although we use air transport, cars, cellphones, cloud storage...

YES to New Stone Age means NO to a large part of our modern convenience.

Behind the art installation, "In memory" is a laboratory of self-reflection about our responsibility in front of nature and coming generations. The graves impress eyes and hearts. By passing through this contemplation area, people apprehend the impact that their way of live has on nature.

"In memory" suggests an experience.
