Shelter Me PROJECT 

여러분 마음에 안전한 피난처를 갖는 것이 굉장히 소중하다.

몸 전체를 이끌고 그 안에 들어갈 수 있다는 것은 하나의 선물이다.

“옛날에 바람이 너무 오랫동안 불어서 별들이 화가 내며 자리를 옮기는 바람에, 별자리들이 형태를 잃어버렸고, 낮이 밤 속으로 밀려 들어왔다.”

그리고 난데없이 바람이 자기 마음을 바꾸었다.

바람이 쉴 곳을 찾기 시작했다. 바람은 지구를 깔보고 북미 원주민 원뿔형 천막(티피)의 꼭대기를 보았다. 그리고 천막 안에 앉아서 잠에 곯아 떨어졌다.

낮과 밤이 너무 헷갈리고 궁금해서, 바람에게 무슨 일이 일어났는지를 알아보기로 했다. 바람이 너무 평화롭게 잠을 자고 있는 것을 보자, 낮과 밤은 손을 잡고서 티피 안으로 슬며시 들어갔다.

그리고 이 소식이 별들에게 전해지자, 별들도 너무 좋아서 자신들의 별자리로 되돌아갔다.”

이것은 동화이고 다음은 동화를 듣고 내가 쓴 시이다:

나를 보호해 주오

바람을 위한 안전한 피난처

별을 위한 안전한 피난처

낮을 위한 그리고 밤을 위한

나를 위한 안전한 피난처

To have a safe haven for your mind is a treasure.

To be able to enter it with your whole body it’s a gift.

“There was a time when the wind was blowing for so long and with such fury that stars were shifted, constellations went out of shape and day was pushed into night.

And then out of nowhere, the wind changed his mind.

He started to search for a place to rest. It looked down on Earth and saw a crown of a tipi. And there he sat and fell asleep.

Day and night were so puzzled and curious, they decided to see what happened to wind. Seeing wind sleeping so peacefully, they slipped into tipi holding hands.

And when the news reached the stars, they were so moved,

they returned to their constellations”.

That is a tale and this is my poem:

shelter me

safe haven for wind

safe haven for stars

for day and for night

safe haven for me
