통상적으로, 사람이 사는 공간은 정신적 의미를 가지고 있다. 각종 의식을 통해 사람은 우주의 탄생을 모방했으며, 건축 행위를 통해 혼돈을 우주의 질서로 바꾸어 놓았다.

이런 의식들의 보편적 요소는 우주의 축 / 세계수를 세우는 일이다. 나무는 세상의 중심으로 간주되었고 3가지 우주 단계(하계, 중계, 상계)로 연결된다.

이 작품의 컨셉은 앞에서 언급한 의식들과 신념들을 모의 실험한다. 이 작품의 겉모습은 둥그런 구조에 가운데에 구멍이 하나 있는 전통적인 헝가리 셸터인 유르타(몽고말: 게르)에서 영감을 받았다. 이 구멍에 나무 기둥(우주의 축)을 세운다(작품에서는 진짜 나무이다). 다른 한편으로, 셸터 겉면은 새 둥지 같아서 유기적 형태 즉 자연성을 느낄 수 있다.

이 작품의 목적은 서로 다른 관점을 만들어내는데 있다. 셸터와 그 사용자가 나무 위에 매달려 있고, 사람과 자연과의 거리는 아주 가깝다. 나무가 없다면, 셸터와 그 사용자도 존재할 수 없다. 이 작품이 있는 위치는 땅 위 1-2m로, 사람이라는 공구, 도구가 땅에서 상계로 올라갈 수 있도록 되어 있다. 나무가 있거나 자연의 도움을 받아 올라갈 수 있다.

In traditional mentality the space where man lived had a spiritual meaning. Through rites he imitated the creation of cosmos; through the act of building he transformed the chaos to cosmic order.

A universal element of these rites is the setting up of the axis mundi / world tree. The tree was seen as the center of the world and it linked together the three cosmic levels (under -, central -, celestial world).

The concept of the artwork simulates the above mentioned rites and beliefs. The form is inspired of traditional Hungarian shelter, yurta (Mongolian ger), which has a circular structure with a hole in the center. In this hole a wooden column (axis mundi) is placed which in the artwork is a real tree. On the other hand the surface of the shelter evokes birds nest, to ensure organic form, naturality.

The object of this work is to create a different perspective. The shelter and its user is hanging on a tree, the distance between man and nature is reduced to the minimum. Without the presence of the tree the existence of the shelter - and its user - is impossibble. The place of the object is 1-2 m above the earth, and it can be considered a tool, instrument of man to transcend from terrestrial levels to upper, celestial dimensions. This elevation is possible just with the aid, with the presence of the tree, of the nature.
