“수직으로 성장하는 풍경”은 새로운 관점을 개발하고 길러내기 위한 일련의 긴 의자들로 만들어진 입체적 명제다.

“수직으로 성장하는 풍경”은 우리 사회가 자연을 변형시킬 경우, 인류 또한 변하게 됨을 보여주는 조각 모듈로 그 경로와 과정을 예술작품의 형태로 구현하기 위해 내가 제안하는 단순한 수사학적 형상이다. 이것은 상징적 비평이지만 추가적인 반향을 불어 일으키고자 하는 뚜렷하고 공식적인 의도를 가진 비평이기도 하다.

Vertically growing views

The project of “Vertically growing views” is a tridimensional proposition of a group of benches that are seeking to develop and/or cultivate (grow) the new different view.

The concept of “Vertically growing views” is a modular sculpture, trying to explain that if the society is changing the nature, we (the humanity) should transform also, therefore, for the moment, I suggest just a simple group of rhetorical figures, putted in an artwork to reinforce the path and the process. It is a symbolic critique but with the concrete and formal intention to provoke additional reflection.
