신에게 보내는 편지 

A Letter to God

우리는 티베트에서 다양한 크기의 돌 더미들을 수 없이 볼 수 있으며, 동굴 안에서도 작은 나뭇가지들을 많이 볼 수 있는데, 사람들은 이것을 “산을 지탱하기 위해서”라고 말한다. 메카의 통곡의 벽 틈 안에는 사람들이 쓴 편지들이 많다. 이런 행위들에는 사람들의 바람, 생각, 소망이 농축되어 있다. 이런 행위들은 시대 및 사람의 운수와 관련된 정체성을 찾고 있다.

이 작품은 신에게 보내는 편지이다.

We could find a lot of heaps of different sizes of stones in Tibet, we could find many small branches inserted in caves, and we call it “to support the mountain”. There is a lot of letters written by human beings in the crevices of wailing walls in Mecca. These phenomena have condensed the people’s wishes, ideas and hopes. They are searching for the sense of identity which is related to the fortune of times and individuals.

This is a letter to God.
