​<소년 A Boy>

자연 빛에 존재하는 사물(나무, 풀 등)의 공간에 인공 빛을 이용하여 그 공간 안에서 살아가는 미물(벌레)들을 유인하여 부착시켜 시간이 점점 흐르면서 형태가 완성되는 작업으로 생명, 죽음(폭력)에 대한 인간의 이중적 구조를 표현한 설치작업이다.

This is an installation work where the artist entices worms and insects living in a natural space with trees and grass, and sticks them, and the work is completed over time. It expresses the dual nature of humans on life and death (violence).

​<낯선 공간 A Strange Space>

자연 녹지공간의 일부를 개간하여 인위적인 사물들을 배치하고 그 위에 태양열 전지판과 전등을 설치하고 생명의 에너지인 햇빛을 흡수하여 전등의 불빛을 통해 (벌레의 본성 이용) 생명이 죽어가는 설치작업으로 생명의 빛과 인공의 빛을 만들어진 구조물을 통해 자연과 환경, 인간의 진보에 대해 표현하려고 하는 작업이다.

The artist cleared part of natural grassland, and installed a solar panel and an electric light bulb on it. This is an installation which shows how the solar panel absorbs sunlight, energy of life, and how the light bulb kills lives (insects). It is the work designed to express nature, environment, and progress of humans through the structure made of the sunlight of life and artificial light of electric light bulb.
