​<치유 의식 Healing Ritual> 

이 설치 작품은 원형의 나무 둥치 속에 든 “해골”로 구성되어 있다. 이것은 원시적인 건축 기술인 자연 속의 인간, 로지에(Laugier)의 “원시 오두막”의 원형을 연상시키는 “구조적인” 형태를 가지고 있다. 각 구조에는 아직 가지 있는 죽은 나무(혹은 나무의 일부)가 있다; 그것들은 땅에서 나와 다시 땅으로 돌아가는 것 같다. 중간에 있는 나무를 제외하고, 각 나무는 땅에 심겨 있다. 중간에 있는 나무는 금속 막대와 결착봉에 의하여 매달린 채 해골과 땅에 붙어 있다. 그것은 자연이 멈춰있고, 연약해 보이지만 점점 더 인간에게 적대적인 역사적인 순간과 같은 우리의 현재 상황을 나타낸다. 자연의 일부로서 인간이 스스로 재정비할 것인지는 우리에게 달려있다.

죽은 나무들의 몸통 안에는 빈 공간들이 만들어질 것이다. 이 공간에는 흙을 덩굴식물 씨앗과 혼합하여 채울 것이다. 이 작은 “주머니들”은 중간에 있는 나무의 몸통과 뿌리에 자연스럽게 형성될 공간들과 더불어 새로운 생명의 닻 역할을 할 것이다. 이런 닻들이 구조를 장악하여 파괴할 것이다. 우리는 건축물에서 흔히 일어나는 방치의 부정적 의미를 강조하지는 않을 것이다. 다만 재탄생의 재자연화를 신성시하기를 원한다.

The installation consists of a "skeleton" in wooden trunks with a growing circular shape, with an declared "structural" appearance to recall the appearance of primitive construction techniques; man in nature, the archetype of Laugier's "primitive hut". Inside each structural section there is a dead tree(or portion of it) still equipped with branches; they seem to come out of the ground and return there. Each tree is planted in the ground with the exception of the central one, suspended and attached to the skeleton and the ground by metal bars and tie rods. It represents our current situation: a historical moment in which Nature seems suspended and fragile but which is increasingly hostile to us. It is up to us to realign ourselves to continue being part of its cycle.

Cavities will also be produced in the trunks of the dead trees, which will then be filled with earth mixed with climbing plant seeds. These small "pockets", combined with the natural cavities present in the trunks and roots of the central tree, will then become anchors for new life, which will take possession of the structure and turn it into a ruin. A ruin of which we do not want to emphasize the negative meaning of abandonment, as happens for buildings, but to sacralize the renaturalization and rebirth.
