뜻밖의 장소에 일상적인 대상을 설치하는 것은 관람객들의 주의를 끌고, 반응을 유도하고, 사색과 토론을 시작하게 하는 좋은 방법인 것 같다. 이런 방식으로 나무줄기와 덩굴식물을 이용해서 세 마리의 학을 만들어 숲속에 설치할 것이다.

우선 아마엘(Amaël)은 재야생화하는 자연을 그린다. 인간이 자연 현상에서 영감을 얻은 기술을 사용하여 발전하듯이 자연도 인간의 기술을 이용하여 스스로 재생하는 것을 상상해 볼 수 있다. 이 두루미들은 우리에게 인간의 생리적 한계를 뛰어넘어 자연을 희생하면서 문명을 발전하게 해주는 이런 상징적 기계 중 하나이다.

또한 이 작품은 자연이 재야생화하는데 인간이 도움을 줄 수 있는지를 묻는다.

자연이 재생하기 위해 인간의 도움을 필요로 한다는 것이 말이 되는가? 이것이 해결책이 될 수 있는가? 아니면 우리의 양심을 달래려는 방법일 뿐인가?

아니면, 아마엘은 자연의 한복판에서 자연이 제공하는 재료와 인간의 기술을 이용해서 만드는 인공적인 작품을 창조하는 생태적인 방법으로의 자연 미술에 관하여 언급하는 자기 경멸적 설치 작품으로 간주할 수 있는가? 우리는 자연 속에서 찾은 재료를 사용하면서 아무런 영향을 미치지 못하는가? 같은 장소를 날마다 걸으면서, 자연 속의 장소에 인공적인 작품을 만드는 것이 환경을 존중하는 것인가?

마지막으로, 이 학들은 미학적이고, 사실적이고, 찬양하면서 하늘과 이야기하며 어린이의 눈으로 바라볼 수 있다.

Creating everyday objects in unexpected places seems to be a good way to catch attention, provoke a reaction, start a reflection and maybe a discussion. By this way, three cranes made with trunks and lianas will appear in the middle of the forest.

In a first approach, Amaël picture one possible rewilding nature. Just as humanity uses techniques inspired from natural phenomenons to evolve, we could imagine one day nature itself will use human techniques to rebuild what this civilization tooks it. Cranes are one of these symbolic machines that enable us to overpass our physiological limits, growing everywhere civilization takes precedence on nature.

This sculpture also asks the question of human help for nature rewilding.

Does it make sense to continue considering nature needs our help to regenerate? Is it a solution or just a way to appease our conscience?

In another way, Amaël can be considered as an auto-derision installation talking about nature art, an ecological way of creating artificial volumes with natural materials and human techniques in the middle of nature. Does we really have no impact using natural matter found in nature? Walking for days and days on the same place, bringing an artificial volume on a natural site is respectful for the environment?

Finally, those cranes can be seen with a child's eye, in admiration for those aesthetic, graphic and gigantic volumes talking with the sky.
