GNAP-India 2015 개막 / GNAP-India 2015 Opening

 지난 11월 19일 야투가 기획한 예술유목프로젝트가 드디어 국경을 넘어 멀리 인도에서 그 첫 단추를 꿰었다. 인류 문명의 발상지, 자유와 독립 그리고 평화의 위대한 영웅의 고향 구자라트, 자연의 혜택을 소중히 여기는 아메다바드의 ESI(Environmenal Sanitation Institute/환경위생연구소)에서 세계 각국의 자연미술가, 예술애호가, 행사후원 및 지역사회인사 등 3백여 명이 운집한 가운데 매우 의미 있는 방식으로 개막되었다.

이 날의 오프닝은 초저녁 어슴프레한 야음에 짧은 묵상과 이 세상 모든 신앙의 이름으로 기도하고 촛불점화, 이어서 영감어린 인도의 노래와 함께 시작되었다. 한 방울의 물도 함부로 버리지 않고 완벽하게 재활용하는 방법을 연구, 교육하는 곳, 간디의 땅에서 의미심장한 방법으로 진행되었다. 행사의 모두에 작가들을 일일이 소개하는데 미처 참석치 못한 작가들에 대한 소개로 그들에 대한 배려를 잊지 않았으며 참석한 작가들에게는 꽃이 아닌 무명실타래를 목에 걸어주고 가슴에는 솜을 넣어 볼륨감을 살린 하트를 달아주며 간디의 혼과 사랑을 상징하였다. 흔히 보는 시끌벅적한 이벤트성의 개막식이 아닌 영혼을 깨우는 검소하고 섬세하게 기획된 행사였다.

필자는 이날 축사에서 “1980년대 초 일군의 젊은 예술인들이 도심의 사각공간을 벗어나 자연으로 나갔으며 그 곳에서 자연의 현상과 요소, 재료들을 활용하는 자연미술을 발견했다. 그들은 엄청나게 많은 -책 또는 학교에서 배우지 못한- 것들을 자연으로부터 느끼고 배웠으며 이 아름다운 일을 온 세상 사람들과 나누고 싶어 1990년대부터 몇 가지 프로젝트를 진행하기 시작하였다. 이 예술유목프로젝트는 그 중의 하나다. 다시 말하자면 예술로 세상을 유목하는 것은 매우 간결한 생각에서 비롯되었다. 그것은 바로 우리가 살고 있는 이 지구는, 바다나 하천 그리고 산으로 그 경계를 달리 하지만 결국은 하나의 덩어리란 생각이었다. -중략-

끝으로 인도노마드를 위해 그들의 모든 열정과 의지를 쏟아 부은 트리그룹의 듀산트 티아기회장과 인도노마드의 디렉터 소무 데사이를 비롯한 모든 분들에게 감사하며, 이 자리에 참석한 모든 예술가, 그리고 전 세계의 자연미술가들에게도 감사를 드린다. 아마도 지금 이 순간 온 세상의 1천여 예술가들이 이곳을 주시하고 있을 것입니다. 내일부터 우리가 딛는 발자국들은 바로 역사가 될 것입니다. 여러분 감사합니다.”라고 말했다. 그리고 속으로 “샨티, 샨티!”를 외쳤다.

Last year on 19th of November, the Nomadic Art Project produced by YATOO was stepped off on the right foot across the border in India. This project was held with the natural artists, aesthetes, sponsors and community personnel of all over the world by very meaningful method at the cradle of civilization; Gujarat the hometown of great hero of freedom; independence and peace; ESI (Environmental Sanitation Institute) of Ahmadabad cherish the benefits of nature.

The opening was began to a brief meditation of darkness of the night and praying in the name of all faiths in the world and igniting candles with inspired song of India. It was proceeded with meaningful method in the land of Gandhi where to study and learn how to recycle a drop of water. They were introduced all writers including the writers who wasn't there, and they were put a cotton skein and heart that put cotton in side of heart on the writers who was attend. It was Symbolized the soul and love of Gandhi. This opening ceremony was not general event, the ceremony was planned frugally and delicately.

The author said" They discovered the art of nature using the materials, factors and the phenomena of nature in the nature where the young artist got out of the square area of the city at the early 1980s. They are learned from the nature without a lot of books or education of school, and they began to several projects for share such a beautiful works with the people in the world. This Nomadic Art Project is one of them. In other words, it was begun with a concise idea to wander about world by the art. That is the thought that the earth is the mass of one, even though earth is divided the boundary by the sea, river and mountain.   - Omission -

Lastly, I would like to thank the chairman of Trees, Mr. Dushyant Tyagi and the director of India nomade, Mr. Somu Desai who had a passion and will for India nomade and everyone who attends this event, also the nature artists in the world.

Maybe this moment, every artist in the world would be watching us.

From tomorrow, our footprints would be the history. Thanks for everyone."

And I shouted in my mind “Shanti, Shanti".
