이 작품은 현지 자재들(목재, 대나무, 갈대)를 이용해 관람객들에게 따뜻하고 아늑한 셸터를 제공하려는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 집은 자주식 목조 건물로 형태는 물론 건축학적 및 심미적 해결방안을 다양하게 구사할 수 있다. 건축 원칙이 단순하기 때문에 연속 생산 방식으로 이 집을 만들 수도 있고 집이 실용적인 차원에서 저렴한 방안이 될 수도 있다. 허클베리 핀의 통 셸터가 생각날 수도 있다.

The work aims to offer a warm and snug shelter for the traveler by using local materials (wood, bamboo, reed). The building has a self supporting wooden structure which allows a great variety of forms and both architectural and aesthetic solutions. Because of its simple construction principle it can be introduced in a serial production as well and can be a cheep solution for real practical use. It can be taken as an allusion to Huckleberry Finn’s barrel shelter.
