「출토」 이야기

3단으로 구축된 노출콘크리트 사각기둥에 오랜 세월을 흙 속에서 빚어진 뿌리의 단면들이 춤추듯 노래하듯 획을 이루며 박혀 있다. 콘크리트는 현대의 바벨탑을 가능케 한 혁명적인 건설재로서 주택과 빌딩, 도로, 다리, 댐 등 우리의 일상과 환경에 찾아들었고, 도시는 콘크리트의 숲이라 불려진다.

오랜 시간을 땅 속에서 견디며 빚어진 나무의 뿌리가 뽑혀 지상으로 올라왔고 빛을 보았다.

조각가의 눈에 들어온 뿌리들이 우리 시대의 문명재인 콘크리트 기둥에 다시 심겨져 新섞기시대의 작은 모뉴먼트로 세워졌다.

The Story of 「From the Earth」

The three-tier exposed concrete square pillar features sections of roots that have been built in the soil for a long time, dancing and singing. Concrete is a revolutionary construction material that made modern Babel Tower possible. It has been found in our everyday life and environment, such as houses, buildings, roads, bridges, and dams, and the city is called the forest of concrete.

The roots of the trees that had been built up in the ground for a long time were pulled up to the ground and saw the light. The roots that came into the eyes of the sculptor were re-treated on concrete pillars, the civilization of our time, and a small monument of the Neomixed Era was erected.
