큐브 잔해 Residue Cube

“큐브 잔해(Residue Cube)”는 창문을 바깥을 내다보는 통로가 아닌, 스튜디오 내부를 들여다보는 틈으로 해석한다. 

도자기 제작 과정에서 나온 파편들—테스트 피스, 결함품, 잔여물들—이 석고 큐브 속에 축적되었다. 

박혀 있는 조각들은 사방에서 부분적으로 모습을 드러낸다. 

이 작품은 일상의 부산물을 버려지는 쓰레기가 아닌, 삶과 창작의 시간이 남긴 고고학적 흔적으로 보존하며 압축된 기록 보관소의 역할을 한다.

"Residue Cube" interprets the window as a glimpse into the studio's interior rather than a view outside. 

Ceramic fragments—test pieces, defects, and leftovers were accumulated to a plaster a cube. 

The embedded pieces remain partially visible from all sides. 

The work functions as a condensed archive, preserving these everyday production residues as archaeological traces of lived and created time rather than viewing them as waste.
