<워터-큐브_시아 Water-Cube_Xia>

작품 <Water-Cube_Xia>는 질감과 형태를 실험한 작업으로, 특히 금이 간 듯한 장식은 환경 속 빛의 변화를 표현한 변형이라 할 수 있다. 

정육면체 형태는 한편으로 과거 물을 보관하던 용기를 떠올리게 하고, 다른 한편으로는 물의 상태나 숲처럼 보이는 도자기의 밝고 어두운 부분 등 자연의 웅장함을 드러낸다. 이러한 모든 대비는 점토를 통해 구현되었다.

The work Water-Cube_Xia is an experimental work of textures and shapes, in particular the crackle decoration could be said as a variation of light within the environment. 

The cube form takes us, for one hand, to the recipients where water could formerly preserve, and on the other hand, 

it shows us the nature in all its splendour, such as, the states of water or the dark and light parts of ceramics that look like forests, all these contrasts obtained through clay.
