<기억의 먼지 Dusts of Memory>

"기억의 먼지 (Dusts of Memory)"는 한때 인간의 신체와 가장 가까이 머물며 시간과 손길의 흔적을 간직해 온 가족의 침구류를 바탕으로 한 작품이다. 직물들은 미세한 기억의 입자로 해체되고, 전통적인 종이 제작 기법을 사용하여 새로운 표면으로 재구성된다. 물은 살아있는 매개체가 되어 재료를 결합함과 동시에 변형시킨다. 이 작품은 인간의 존재, 물질, 그리고 물이 뒤섞여 끊임없이 변화하는 기억의 표면을 이루는 연약한 상태를 창조한다.

“Dusts of Memory” is a artwork based on family bed linens, once close to the human body and holding traces of time and touch.

The textiles are deconstructed into fine memory particles and reformed into new surfaces using traditional papermaking techniques.

Water becomes a living mediator, binding and transforming the material at the same time. The work creates a fragile state where human presence, material, and water merge into a shifting surface of memory."
