세상에는 자연에서 그러하듯 사람들 사이에서도 일식처럼 빛이 희미해질 때 침입의 과정이 발생하곤 한다 (버려진 새 둥지에 말벌이 자리를 잡는 것처럼). 우리는 이러한 현상을 과거와 현재 모두에서 관찰할 수 있다.
