<출토 2026- 생성과 소멸의 궤적 Excavation 2026 - Trace of Creation and Decay>

작품의 모태가 된 나무는 오랜 세월 동안 비바람을 맞고 대지 속에서 풍화되면서 내부에 깊은 공동을 형성했다. 

이 비어 있는 공간은 단순한 소멸이 아닌, 자연 스스로를 비워내며 축적한 시간의 흔적이자 또 다른 생명을 품어내는 가능성의 공간이다. 

거칠고 깨어진 자연의 형상을 인위적인 큐브의 틀과 대비시킴으로써 인간의 질서(문명)과 자연의 섭리가 만나는 경계를 표현한다. 

정제된 나무결과 내부의 거친 균열은 물질의 순환 속에서 자연에 대한 경외심과 숭고한 존재 가치를 일깨운다.

The wood that served as the origin of this work formed deep cavities within itself as it weathered in the earth, enduring wind and rain over a long period. 

This empty space is not merely a sign of decay; it is a trace of time accumulated by nature as it empties itself, and a space of possibility that harbors new life. 

By contrasting the rough, fractured form of nature with the artificial frame of the cube, the work expresses the boundary where human order (civilization) meets the providence of nature. 

The refined wood grain and the rough cracks within awaken a sense of awe and the sublime value of existence amidst the cycle of matter.
