<커다란 잔디밭 The Big Lawn>

1503년 뒤러는 뉘른베르크에서 도시 풍경 대신 작은 초원의 단면을 담은 '거대한 잔디밭'을 그렸다. 인공지능을 활용하여, 이 작은 자연 관찰 기록은 이제 대형 파노라마로 확장되었다.

인공지능은 이미지의 가장자리를 채워 넣으며 원본 프레임 너머에 무엇이 있을지 상상한다. 

이런 방식으로 제한된 연구용 습작은 관람객의 시선이 마치 창문을 통해 바라보듯 거니는 광활한 풍경이 된다. 낮의 빛은 그림 속 더 깊은 곳까지 스며드는 듯하다.

In 1503, Dürer painted his “Großes Rasenstück” in Nuremberg – a patch of meadow rather than a cityscape. Using AI, this small study of nature has now been expanded into a large-format panorama. 

The AI fills in the edges of the image and imagines what might lie beyond the original frame. 

In this way, the limited study sheet becomes a vast landscape through which the viewer’s gaze wanders as if through a window. The daylight seems to penetrate even deeper into the picture.
