<큐브, 혹은 비(非)큐브 Cube but not Cube>

나는 도시를 상징하는 구조와 질서, 그리고 통제의 표상으로서 큐브에서 출발한다. 그것은 우리의 일상을 에워싼 도시의 경직된 형태들을 반영한다. 

그러나 핀칭 기법과 불, 그리고 시간을 거치며 큐브는 자연 미술에서 영감을 받은 유기적인 형상으로 서서히 변모해간다.

I begin with a cube because it represents the urban world — structure, order and control. It reflects the rigid forms that surround our daily lives in the city. 

But through my pinching method, fire, and time, the cube slowly transforms into an organic shape inspired by nature art.
