깔때기 컬렉션은 증류와 선택을 위한 도구다 - 이를 통해 물질은 한 용기에서 다른 용기로 정확하게, 손실 없이 옮겨진다. 깔때기는 전이(轉移)의 공간을 상징하며, 모래시계의 절반처럼 보인다.

하지만 그 자체로도 하나의 용기가 될 수 있다 - 해부학적인 요소, 예를 들어 생물학적 과정을 겪는 자궁처럼, 그 안에서 물질이 생명으로 배출되기도 하고, 혹은 연금술의 도가니처럼 그 안에서 정제된 물질이 새로운 형태로 옮겨지기도 한다.

The collection of funnels is an instrument for distillation, for selection - through it the matter is transferred from one container to another, precisely, without any losses.

The funnel represents a transitional space, half an hourglass. 

But it could also be a container itself - an anatomical detail, a womb subjected to biological processes from which matter is expelled into life, an alchemical crucible from which the substance is then transferred into a new form.
