“Mexican Taxonomy” explores the relationship between scientific classification and the Mexican imagination. 

It presents the xoloitzcuintle, grasshopper, and corn as biological, cultural, spiritual, and mythological symbols. 

Science, mythology, and imagination are shown as complementary ways of understanding nature within ecological, urban, and spiritual contexts, inviting reflection on how knowledge, memory, and nature coexist.
