<절단된 나이테의 흔적 Sliced Ring Trace>

이 큐브는 12×12×12cm 크기의 나무 큐브를 톱으로 자르고, 손으로 깎고, 사포질하고, 접착하여 조립한 것이다. 

나무의 나이테를 활용하여 외부의 유기적인 형태와 내부로 이어지는 터널을 만들었다. 

이러한 불규칙한 형태는 큐브 본래의 사각형 테두리와 대비를 이룬다. 

건축적인 구조와 자연의 형태가 이 작품 안에서 조화롭게 어우러지며 그 가치를 드러낸다.

This sculpture is made with saw cut, hand carved, sanded, and glue joined sections of a 12x12x12cm wood cube. 

The tree rings were used to develop the exterior and tunneled interior organic shapes. 

These irregular shapes contrast with the retained rectangular peripheral edges of the original cube geometry. 

Architectural structure and natural forms are harmonized and celebrated here.
