<서비네 씨앗들 Seeds of the Seobi Family>

사람들의 삶은 겉보기에는 특별해 보일 수 있지만, 과거부터 현재까지 끊임없이 반복되어 왔다. 

이 반복의 중심에는 식물로부터 받는 영향이 매우 크다. 나는 그 시작점이라 할 수 있는 식물의 초기 씨앗들을 관찰하게 되었으며, 씨앗은 일정한 조건이 갖추어졌을 때 비로소 싹을 틔운다. 

이러한 발아 조건은 씨앗의 고유한 속성, 기후, 온도, 그리고 토양의 산성도 등에 의해 결정된다. 

작품은 이와 같은 요소들(속성, 기후, 온도, 산성도)을 색상으로 시각화하여 표현하고 있다.

People’s lives may seem extraordinary at first glance, but they have been continuously repeating from the past to the present. 

At the core of this repetition lies a significant influence from plants. 

I observed the initial seeds of plants, which can be considered the starting point, and seeds only sprout when certain conditions are met. 

These germination conditions are determined by the seeds’ inherent properties, climate, temperature, and soil acidity. The work visualizes these elements - properties, climate, temperature, and acidity - through color.

각각의 씨앗을 특수렌즈를 사용하여 16~30컷 촬영후에 하나의 이미지로 (포커스 스태킹 기법) 작업후 그 이미지를 천연유리에 UV프린팅 하여 큐브로 제작.
