<만경 (萬頃)_떠 다니는 섬들 Boundless Blue Waves _ îles flottantes>

만경(萬頃)은 한자로 일만 '만(萬)'과 이랑 '경(頃)'을 쓴다. 

헤아릴 수 없을 만큼 넓고 끝없는 면적이나 공간을 뜻하며 만경창파(萬頃蒼波)' 또는 '만경유리(萬頃琉璃)'처럼 끝없이 넓고 푸른 물결을 이르는 말로 자주 쓰인다. 인간의 고된 삶의 현장이자, 땀 흘린 흙 밭의 이랑은 겹이 굽이치며 그 너머에는 푸르른 물결이 일렁인다. 

만경창파(萬頃蒼波)' 또는 '만경유리(萬頃琉璃) 헤아릴 수 없을 만큼, 순환하고 이어지는, 고정적이지 않으며 살아 움직이는 자연과 사물들의 약동을 바라본다.

Mangyeong (萬頃) is written with the characters for ten thousand (萬) and furrows (頃). 

It refers to an immeasurable and endless expanse of area or space, often used in phrases like Mangyeong-changpa (ten thousand acres of blue waves) or Mangyeong-yuri (ten thousand acres of glass-like water) to describe vast, deep blue waves. 

The furrows of the soil, the site of human life and hard-earned sweat, undulate in layers, and beyond them, blue waves surge. 

Observing Mangyeong-changpa or Mangyeong-yuri, one beholds the throbbing vitality of nature and objects—immeasurable, circulating, continuous, unfixed, and alive.
