<모친지포(母親之抱) In Mothers Arms>

이 작업은 12x12x12(h) 사이즈의 철제 큐브 안 풀밭 위에 나를 상징하는 물범이 누워 하늘을 바라보고 있는 형태이다. 

제목은 어머니의 품을 뜻하는 한자어인 모친지포(母親之抱)이다. 

창으로 들어온 햇볕이 나를 덮어줄 때의 느낌을 마치 자연 속에 누워 햇빛을 받고 있는 모습으로 표현해 보았다. 

자연이 모든 생명의 어머니라는 생각에서 이러한 제목을 지었다.

The work features a seal, which I use to represent myself, lying on a patch of grass inside a 12x12x12(h) cm steel cube, gazing up at the sky. 

Titled "In Mothers Arms (母親之抱)," a Chinese term meaning "a mother's embrace," 

the piece expresses the feeling of being covered by sunlight streaming through a window, similar to the sensation of lying in nature and soaking up the sun. 

I chose this title because I believe that nature is the mother of all living things.
