오늘도 여러 겹의 비닐에 싸인 제품을 뜯으며 하루를 시작했다. 환경오염과 탄소 배출을 염려할 때마다 후세에게 죄를 짓고 있는 것은 아닌가 하는 불편한 의문이 고개를 든다. 

내가 만들어낸 플라스틱 쓰레기를 작품의 재료로 쓰기로 결심했지만, 한편으로는 나의 예술 활동마저 또 다른 부담으로 다가온다. 플라스틱이 없다면 지금 우리는 온전히 존재할 수 있을까?

I began my day by unwrapping a product covered in layers of plastic. Every time I worry about environmental pollution and carbon emissions, an uncomfortable question arises: am I committing a sin against future generations? 

I have decided to use the plastic waste I produce as material for my work, yet at the same time, I feel that my artistic activity itself has become another burden. Without plastic, could we truly exist as we do now?
