<교차 Intersection>

4cm 스테인리스 각관을 절단·조합하여 도시의 구조를 큐브 안에 압축하였다.

작업은 마천루(초고층빌딩)의 유리표면에 반사되는 노을빛에서 출발하며, 차가운 도시를 구성하는 인공의 재료가 자연의 빛을 만나는 순간을 담는다.

비어 있는 각관의 공간은 건축과 창, 도시와 개인을 연결하는 인터페이스이며, 빛과 감각을 통해 생기를 갖게된다.

I cut and assembled 4cm stainless steel square pipes to compress the structure of a city within a cube. 

The work begins with the glow of the sunset reflecting off the glass surfaces of skyscrapers, capturing the moment when the artificial materials that constitute a cold city encounter natural light. 

The empty spaces within the square pipes serve as an interface connecting architecture and windows, as well as the city and the individual, becoming enlivened through light and sensation.
