<연화화생 Yeonhwa Hwasaeng>

무령왕비 두침에 그려진 문양은 극락에서 연꽃으로 다시 환생하기를 바라는 내세관을 지녔다. 

1990년 작은 화분으로 인연을 맺은 나무가 2025년 수명을 다했다. 

오랜 시간 함께 지낸 나무가 <연화화생> 하길 바라는 마음이다.

The patterns on Queen Muryeong’s two hairpins reflect a belief in the afterlife, wishing for rebirth as a lotus in paradise.

A tree that first became part of my life in 1990 as a small potted plant reached the end of its life in 2025.

It is my hope that this tree, with which I shared so many years, be reborn as Yeonhwa Hwasaeng
