숲을 걷다 보면 수많은 존재와 마주하게 된다. 

그 안에서 동·식물과 시선을 나누는 일은, 어느새 머리 위에 새로운 풀이 돋아나듯 생명력을 얻는 과정이다. 

장작불 속으로 사라질 땔감 나무를 조각의 재료로 삼아, 손으로 다정한 마음을 기울여 숨을 불어넣은 조각이다.

Walking through the forest, one encounters countless beings. 

Sharing a gaze with the flora and fauna within it is a process of gaining vitality, as if new grass were sprouting atop one's head. 

Using firewood destined to disappear into a blaze as the material for sculpture, I have breathed life into these pieces by pouring a tender heart into them with my hands.
