<숨 쉬는 빛 Breathing Light>

“숨 쉬는 빛 (Breathing Light)”은 태국 전통 기법인 '라이 롯 남(lai rod nam)'을 사용하여 말린 잎을 재탄생시킴으로써 자연, 문화유산, 그리고 도시 생활 사이의 대화를 만들어낸다. 

투명한 큐브 안에 담긴 금박을 입힌 나뭇잎들은 빛과 상호작용하며 숨결과 움직임을 암시하는 변화무쌍한 반사와 그림자를 드리운다. 

이 작품은 성장과 소멸, 그리고 재생의 순환을 불러일으키며, 관람객들이 자연과 다시 연결되어 인간과 환경 사이의 더 균형 잡힌 관계를 상상하도록 초대한다.

Breathing Light transforms dried leaves through the traditional Thai lai rod nam technique, creating a dialogue between nature, cultural heritage, and urban life. 

Encased in transparent cubes, the gilded leaves interact with light, casting shifting reflections and shadows that suggest breath and movement. 

The work evokes cycles of growth, decay, and renewal, inviting viewers to reconnect with nature and imagine a more balanced relationship between humanity and the environment.
