<블레스_큐브 Bless_Cube>

우리는 현대사회의 일원으로서 "스트레스받는다"라는 자극을 받으며 살아간다. 그리고 마음속으로 누군가에게 무언가를 빌기도 한다. 

나는 작업을 통해 모두를 기리며 스트레스를 봉인하고 해소한다. 

기념비와 반기념비에 새기는 반복적인 '흠'을 통해 강박적 사고를 시각화하며, 현대사회에서 이어지는 자극과 강박을 스크래치를 통해 기리고 기록한다. 

작업의 주재료는 보존이 가장 오래되어야 하는 기념비의 특성을 빌려와, 석재를 하나의 "큐브" 안에서 조각하는 방식을 취한다.

As members of modern society, we are stimulated by the constant declaration of "being stressed," and we find ourselves praying to someone, anyone, within ourselves. 

Through this work, I commemorate everyone while sealing and relieving that stress.

 By using repetitive "flaws" carved into monuments and counter-monuments, I visualize obsessive thoughts; through these scratches, I commemorate and record the ongoing stimuli and compulsions of modern society. 

The primary material for this work adopts the nature of a monument—which must be preserved for the longest time—by carving stone within a "cube."
