<생명의 순환 Cycle of life>

필레 신전의 입구, 기둥, 바다에서 영감을 받아 12cm 정육면체 큐브 속에 구현한 소우주이다. 

밤의 여신 누트의 어둠에서 잉태된 연꽃이 태양신 라의 기운을 입어 세상 밖으로 나오고 이 생명은 다채로운 무리를 이루고 자신만의 세계를 구축하며, 마침내 ‘연인(蓮人)’이 되어 삶을 영위한다.

생명은 끝이 아니라 또 다른 시작이며 이집트 신화의 영생 사상과 연꽃, 태양, 별, 물의 상징을 하나의 공간 안에 담아, 탄생과 죽음, 그리고 다시 이어지는 생명의 순환을 표현하였다.

Inspired by the entrance, columns, and the sea of the Temple of Philae, this work is a microcosm realized within a 12cm cube. 

A lotus, conceived in the darkness of Nut, the goddess of the night, emerges into the world imbued with the energy of Ra, the sun god. 

This life forms a vibrant community, constructs its own world, and finally becomes a 'Lotus-being' (Yeon-in) to live out its existence.

 Life is not an end, but another beginning; by encapsulating the Egyptian myth of eternal life and the symbols of the lotus, the sun, the stars, and water within a single space, this work expresses the cycle of life—birth, death, and its continued renewal.
