자연은 오랜 시간 속에서 스스로 고유한 형태와 질감을 만들어 낸다. 

이 작업은 바다의 환경 속에서 형성되는 돌김의 유기적인 표면과 흐름에 주목하여, 닥종이를 해체하고 다시 구축하는 과정을 통해 자연의 생성 원리를 조형적으로 탐구한다. 

작은 틀 안에 담긴 구조는 자연의 일부를 압축한 단면이며, 끊임없이 변화하는 자연의 생명성과 구조적 질서를 드러낸다.

Nature creates its own unique forms and textures over a long period of time. 

This work focuses on the organic surface and flow of dol-gim (rock laver) formed within the marine environment, and explores the generative principles of nature through a sculptural process of deconstructing and reconstructing dak-jong-i (mulberry paper). 

The structure contained within the small frame is a compressed cross-section of a piece of nature, revealing the constantly changing vitality and structural order of the natural world.
