<건조 Arid>

“건조 (Arid)”는 황금빛 반사가 깃든 갈라진 흙덩어리 큐브로, 척박하고 가치 없다고 여겨지는 물질을 사유의 대상으로 변화시킨다. 

이 작품은 버려진 것에 존엄성을 회복시킴으로써, 낭비와 생산성에 대한 통념에 도전한다. 

작품 속 황금빛 하이라이트는 비옥함이 가진 깨지기 쉬운 가치를 드러내며, 건강한 토양은 당연히 주어지는 것이 아니라 돌봄과 생물 다양성, 그리고 땅과의 지속 가능한 관계를 통해서만 지켜질 수 있음을 상기시킨다.

Arid is a cube of cracked earth with golden reflections, transforming a material seen as sterile and worthless into an object of contemplation.

 The work challenges ideas of waste and productivity, restoring dignity to what is considered discarded. 

The gold highlights the fragile value of fertility, reminding us that healthy soil is not guaranteed but must be protected through care, biodiversity, and sustainable relationships with the land.
