<응고된 햇살 Solidified Sunlight>

작품 표면의 형광 노랑, 짙은 블루, 풀색, 회보라, 크림색이 교차하며 만들어 낸 찬란한 결들은 구체적인 꽃이나 풀을 묘사하는 대신, 하나의 ‘내추럴 에이전트(Natural Agent, 자연 행위자)’로서 작용하는 태양광의 역동성을 포착한다. 

이는 빛이 도시의 미세한 먼지를 뚫고 창가로 들어와 거친 콘크리트 바닥 위에 만화경처럼 다채로운 빛과 그림자를 드리우는 순간을 상상하게 한다. 

본래 단단하고 정형화되어 있던 입면체가 소성 과정에서 겪은 유기적인 변형과 침하는 인공 건축물이 지닌 경직성을 깨부수며, 차가운 도시에 대한 감성적 반역을 꾀한다. 

기하학적 잔상과 유기적 율동이 융합된 이 작품을 응시하다 보면, 콘크리트 빌딩 숲 속에서 오랫동안 마비되어 있던 우리의 감각이 비로소 회복됨을 느낀다. 

우리는 그 안에서 바람을 보고, 정지된 빛의 궤적을 마주하며, 흙의 촉감을 만끽한다. 이로써 우리는 우리를 둘러싼 환경과의 깊은 공명을 다시금 깨우게 된다.

The radiant textures created by the intersection of fluorescent yellow, deep blue, grass green, grayish-purple, and cream colors on the work's surface capture the dynamism of sunlight acting as a "Natural Agent," rather than depicting specific flowers or plants. 

This evokes the moment when light pierces through the city’s fine dust, enters the window, and casts colorful, kaleidoscopic light and shadows onto the rough concrete floor. 

The organic deformation and subsidence that the originally solid and standardized hexahedron underwent during the firing process break the rigidity of artificial structures, attempting an emotional rebellion against the cold city. 

As one gazes at this work, where geometric afterimages and organic rhythms fuse, one feels that our senses, long paralyzed within the forest of concrete buildings, are finally recovering. 

We see the wind within it, encounter the trajectories of still light, and fully enjoy the tactile sensation of the earth. Thereby, we reawaken a deep resonance with the environment that surrounds us.
