오랜 세월 이어져 온 자수와 직조의 예술은 우리 일상의 재현 속에서, 우리의 언어 속에서, 그리고 삶을 엮어 나가는 은유 속에서 존재한다. 

실을 잡아당겨 기억을 길어 올리고, 만남을 재배치하고 정렬하며, 자수의 시학을 공고히 하는 그 모든 과정이 이 작품에 녹아 있다.

Working with the embroidery cube, whether going in or out, draws on ancient practices. 

The age-old art of embroidery and weaving is present in representations of our daily lives, in our language, in the metaphors of life that weave, pull the thread of memory, rearrange and align encounters, and strengthen the poetics of embroidery.
