<기(氣) - 흐름> Flow of Qi

형태 이전의 기(氣)는 고정된 형상이 아니라 끊임없이 생성되고 소멸하는 생명의 움직임이다. 이번 금강자연미술비엔날레 출품작은 나무의 물성과 자연의 흔적을 통해 보이지 않는 기의 흐름을 공간 안에 드러낸다. 검게 변화된 현목의 형태는 죽음과 소멸을 넘어 새로운 에너지의 생성을 향하는 생명적 기운을 담고 있으며, 바닥에서 솟고 휘어지며 움직이는 현목은 공간 자체를 하나의 기의 장(場)으로 확장한다. 관람자는 작품을 바라보는 동시에 물질 너머에 존재하는 자연의 기운과 시간의 흔적을 감각하게 된다.

Qi(氣) before form is not a fixed shape, but the movement of life, constantly emerging and dissolving. This work, presented at the Geumgang Nature Art Biennale, reveals the invisible flow of qi within space through the materiality of wood and 

traces of nature. The charred form of the dead tree embodies a vital energy that moves beyond death and dissolution toward the generation of new energy. Rising, bending, and moving from the ground, the wood transforms the space itself into a field of qi. As viewers encounter the work, they simultaneously sense the natural energy and traces of time that exist beyond the material.
