<상처 입은 공존> Wounded Coexistence

이 사진 퍼포먼스는 퀴어이자 유방절제술을 받은 논바이너리의 몸과 홍콩 시골에 자리한 상처 입은 오래된 포도나무의 몸이 만나는 장면을 연출한다. 이 나무는 불법적으로 잘려나갔지만, 변형된 모습으로 여전히 살아남아 있다.

플라스틱 장난감 화살, 실, 점토를 사용하여 인간의 몸은 만지고, 묶고, 수선하는 미묘한 행위를 수행한다. 이러한 재료들은 도시 개발과 방치가 풍경에 조용히 흔적을 새기는 방식을 환기하는 동시에, 손상된 존재를 붙들고 수선하며 그 곁에 머물기 위한 연약한 시도를 보여준다.

궁극적으로 이 연작은 우리가 자신의 상처와 함께 살아가는 법을 어떻게 배울 수 있는지, 그리고 사적으로 짊어진 고통이 살아 있는 존재들 사이에서 공유되는 언어가 될 수 있는지를 탐구한다. 인간의 몸을 상처 입었지만 살아남은 나무의 몸 곁에 놓음으로써, 이 연작은 취약성, 생존, 그리고 우리가 해를 가하는 구조에 복잡하게 참여하고 있다는 사실을 성찰한다.

This photographic performance stages an encounter between a queer, mastectomized, non-binary body and a wounded, illegally cut old vine tree in rural Hong Kong.

Using plastic toy arrows, yarn, and clay, the human body enacts subtle gestures of touch, binding, and repair. These materials echo how urban development and neglect inscribe themselves onto landscapes, while serving as a fragile 

attempt to mend and remain with what is damaged.

Ultimately, the series explores how we coexist with our wounds and how private pain forms a shared language among living beings. By placing the human body beside the surviving tree, the work reflects on vulnerability, survival, and our 

complex participation in systems of harm.”
