<발효하는 조각> Fermenting Sculpture

구 양조장에 남겨진 사물들은 술을 빚던 노동과 기다림의 시간을 품고 있다. 〈발효하는 조각〉은 이 사물들을 다시 관계를 맺게 하며 서로 다른 존재가 함께 변해가는 조건을 만든다. 발효에서 중요한 것은 하나가 되는 일이 아니라 각자의 속도를 가진 채 서로에게 스며드는 일이다. 미생물과 공기, 온도와 사람의 손이 서로를 조금씩 바꾸듯, 공동체 역시 누구도 완전히 통제할 수 없는 관계 속에서 숙성된다. 이 조각은 그 불완전한 공존을 계속 발효시킨다.

The objects left in the old brewery carry traces of labor and the time of waiting. Fermenting Sculpture brings them into new relations, creating conditions in which different beings can change together. 

What matters in fermentation is not becoming one, but permeating one another while each retains its own pace. Just as microbes, air, temperature, and human hands gradually change one another, a community likewise matures within 

relationships that no one can fully control. This sculpture continues to ferment that imperfect coexistence.
